100909 One day at SLM

The long awaited LLDPE from Johor expected to be arriving today (though Manager really hope that BOPP & CPP ordered from Melaka reach us first)

LLDPE???? (just google this on wikipedia)

Well…. as miss purchasing dept  (Ms Chan) already informed me since yesterday, so store keeper (mr S) & me already prepared space for LLDPE (cause Manager usually ordered >10 tonnes of LLDPE in one order due to huge usage for this raw material during production)… from 9am till 1pm, no news from lorry driver….

After afternoon break, I overheard Ms L (sales) talking to someone over phone…. like giving directions…. oh ok…  less than 2km from factory… 10 minutes later he (lorry driver) call again…. this time its my turn to give directions…. (my directions are easy since i give landmark directions, they just need to FOLLOW my direction)

THE PROBLEM here are THIS PARTICULAR driver DIDNT follow my directions and went OVER the junction that he’s supposed to turn…. haishhh…. then he called AGAIN…. this time he WANT me to go & FETCH him…. WTH???? ni kes TAKMAU TANYA ORANG SEKELILING LA NI!!!~ menonong ja bawak lori…. haish!!!!~ manja nak org pi amek dia pulak….

Instead of me, I plead store keeper to fetch this LORRY (since its not suitable for me, a woman to guide a lorry on the road), well with my karisma (kuda hijau buruk aku la) of course…

SELAMAT, 10 minutes later THAT lorry finally reach factory…. the driver went on and on babbling about me refusing to fetch him earlier…. apa dia ingat orang TAK PAYAH buat keja lain…. dok amek dia ja??? If I keep talking to him, then this matter wouldnt stop, so I just let him talk to himself…..

& oh…. he’s just went inside factory area (which is not suitable for this kind of lorry, errr trailer to enter) macam mana la trailer yg panjang berjela tu nak pusing keluaq nanti???? ec takut sangkut ja nanti… huhuhu MASALAH besar tu

FINALLY 10 pallets full with PE’s unloaded from the lorry….

THE PROBLEM!

When he go & reverse his lorry, on of the tire went inside the drain (i dunno what this thing called rather than drain…. lubang kumbahan??? whatever~ here’s some pictures for U to see)

ha! manager, supervisor, operator & store keeper dok pikiaq macam mana nak tarik kuar lori gedabak ni kuar lori….. jahanam forklift kalo nak angkat >_____<

 

There U go! Tak pernah2 orang masuk dalam lobang tu…. satu reja pulak nak angkat tayar tuh kuar lori…. hmmmm….

First Store Keeper (Mr S) & Mr Driver try ways to lift up the lorry from that hole…. & Mr S went in & call Manager…. 3 brains r better than 2 rite????  from 2 to 3 people, then both supervisor & operators come and give a hand…..

 

Me????? I just leave the scene after taking evidence (since its MENS work)  kan AKU dah HABAQ tadi…. TAK LEPAIH ang nak reverse satni!!!!! tp KETEGAQ nak wat macam mana kn????? kn dah susah~ dah la hari ni JUMAAT (its weekend here in KEDAH) other factory closed today!

Mr Driver come to me asked for my motorcycle…. he gonna went out search for help (since our forklift cant lift thing more than 10 tonnes) our forklift is battery operated & dont have enough FORCE to tow the lorry from THE HOLE….. what to do… I just lent my motorcycle to the driver…. kesian pulak la tgk driver ni! baru kot jadi driver lori????

an hour later (now already 5pm) he came back with one forklift, heavy duty one! that forklift sound like a race car! fuyooo!~ POWER NIH!!!~after several attempts, the lorry got out, then ANOTHER problem arise~ TADAAAAA

Lekat pulak DEPAN kilang…. lecah tang depan tu (its been raining these 2-3 days) now NO car nor motorcycle can got out this time!!!!~ we’re DOOMED!!!~ tak boleh balik dah hari ni….. huhuhuhu~ now its already 5.45pm…. 15 minutes from 6pm…

oh… maybe motorcycle are able to go out…. but how about CARS???? i dunno….

 

what a day…. 9 September 2011….

 

next day 10 September 2011 my work seems harder since I have to guide other supplier directions to 2nd door (behind new block) & others have to work extra since the lorry still TRAPPED there…..

Today I learned that the lorry not just trapped there, its oil & water tank are also damaged (due to forklift impact yesterday)
